SOUTHERN CROSS WINERY

The wide-open expanse of Eastern Washington is home to a small - yet unique - vineyard owned by the Driscoll Family. Southern Cross Winery sits adjacent to the Columbia River overlooking the beautiful Columbia Valley, which extends as far as the eye can see in every direction – a truly breathtaking view.

The Southern Cross, a small but beautiful constellation located in the southern sky, has been used for centuries as a navigational guide to help travelers find their way home. I think of it often when I look into the starlit night sky “Due South.” Having been born and raised on a family farm in the Carolinas, a piece of my heart will always be there. For me, the Southern Cross symbolizes my way back home.

Farming is a labor of love for our family. Long growing days, fertile sandy soil and cool starlit nights, along with our personal attention from hand-pruning and hand-picking every grape ensures the highest quality wine from our vineyard to your glass. We hope you enjoy “Our Labor of Love” in every bottle.
